MOUNTAINEER ROUNDUP: Mountaineers and Lady Mountaineers earn dominant wins

Eastern Oklahoma State College athletics were hard at work closing out the month of February and ringing in the March spring seasons.

Mountaineer basketball earned a hard-fought win over Seminole State College on Feb. 29. Jordyn Brown led the way with 22 points, followed by Marque Wilkerson with 21 points, Jamel Graves with 11 points, DD Coleman with 10 points, and Jamouri Mccalister, Xavier Lucas, and Andre Kanu with two points each.

Lady Mountaineer softball earned a massive win over Southeastern Community College on March 2. Greenlee Wells and Alexis Helzer each earned three RBIs, while Braelyn Blasengame had two RBIs to lead at the plate. Grace Hulsey got the win in the circle, striking out 10 and moving to a 3-0 record on the season.

Mountaineer baseball earned three wins in a series sweep against Garden City Community College over the weekend. Augusto Schroeder, John Sekich, Rubin Venter, Dawson Price, and Tyler Henrich combined for 15 RBIs through three games, while Camden White, Kamden Thompson, Carson Sherrill, and Cyrus Kornegay combined for 19 strikeouts on the mound.
