Eastern Baseball to compete in Region II Tournament this week

Eastern Oklahoma State College is riding a five-game winning streak into the NJCAA Region II Tournament.

The Mountaineers (24-21, 15-15) are scheduled to play Connors State College in the opening round at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at Fuller Ballpark in Woodward. Eastern went 2-4 against Connors in 2019, most recently splitting a doubleheader April 12 at home.

The tournament is scheduled to run Thursday through Sunday.

Thursday

G1: Rose State College vs. Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, noon

G2: Connors vs. Eastern, 3:30 p.m.

G3: Seminole State College vs. Arkansas Baptist, 7 p.m.

Friday

G4: Loser of Game 3 vs. Loser of Game 2, noon

G5: Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2, 3:30 p.m.

G6: Winner of Game 3 vs. Loser of Game 1, 7 p.m.

Saturday

G7: Loser of Game 5, vs. Winner of Game 4, noon

G8: Winner of Game 6 vs. Winner of Game 5, 3:30 p.m.

G9: Loser of Game 8 vs. Winner of Game 7, 7 p.m.

Sunday

G10: Winner of Game 8 vs. Winner of Game 9, 1 p.m.

G11: If Necessary, 4 p.m.
