Four-RBI Day for Mac McCroskey Spells Victory for Mountaineers over Carl Albert

Mac McCroskey showed timely hitting on Tuesday, driving in four on three hits to lead the Mountaineers past Carl Albert 12-3 on Tuesday. McCroskey drove in runs on a double in the third and a double in the fifth.

Carl Albert scored three runs in the sixth inning, but Eastern still managed to pull out the victory. Ryan Makerny and Gavene Revene each had RBIs in the frame.

Jacob Savage was on the hill for the Mountaineers. He lasted five innings, allowing four hits and zero runs while striking out 10 and walking zero.

Ethan Trivitt started the game for Carl Albert. He allowed five hits and five runs over two and a third innings, striking out one and walking zero. Canyon Thiel, Garrett Maxwell, Raceton Sedlacek, and Daven Blanco each entered the game as relief, throwing two and two-thirds innings, one and one-third innings, one inning, and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Eastern saw the ball well today, racking up 13 hits in the game. McCroskey, Austin Lambert and Ethan Williams each racked up multiple hits for Mountaineers. McCroskey went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead the Mountaineers in hits.

Mack Moody led Carl Albert with two hits in three at-bats.
