Seven RBI Day for Gray Seals Mountaineers' Victory Over North Central Texas

Wyatt Gray was an RBI machine on Tuesday, driving in seven on three hits to lead Eastern past North Central Texas 9-4. Gray drove in runs on a grand slam in the first and a home run in the seventh.

The Mountaineers opened up scoring in the first inning, when Gray homered on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring four runs.

Tyler Frank pitched Eastern to victory. He surrendered two runs on two hits over four innings, striking out four and walking one. Nolan Feazle threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Feazle recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for the Mountaineers.

Dawson Beard led things off on the hill for North Central Texas. He surrendered five runs on two hits over four innings, striking out seven. Sam Clark and Quincy Cooper entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and one inning respectively.

Eastern smacked three home runs on the day. Tyler Johnson had a dinger in the fifth inning. Gray put one out in both the first and seventh innings.

The Mountaineers tallied seven hits in the game. Gray and Johnson each racked up multiple hits. Gray went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the team in hits.

Colby Seltzer led North Central Texas with two hits in two at-bats.
