Lambert's Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In Mountaineers' Victory Over Pratt Community College

The Mountaineers seized victory in dramatic, walk-off fashion thanks to a single at the end of the game to topple Pratt Community College. The game was tied at four with Eastern batting in the bottom of the seventh when Austin Lambert singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Eastern got things moving in the first inning. Cole Broughton doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Chris Spry pitched the Mountaineers to victory. The lefty allowed no hits and one run over one inning, striking out three and walking none.

Keegan Cormier took the loss for Pratt Community College. Cormier lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out one.

Christian McGowan started the game for the Mountaineers. The right-hander lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out 12 and walking none.

Eastern totaled eight hits. Broughton and Lambert each racked up multiple hits. Broughton led the team with three hits in four at-bats. The Mountaineers didn't commit a single error in the field. Wyatt Gray had the most chances in the field with 15.

Cooper Bradbury went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Pratt Community College in hits.
