Eastern Oklahoma State College took home a 4-1 victory over Carl Albert State College on Tuesday.
Eastern notched three runs in the sixth inning. Katelyn Hoover, Avery Roberts and Ashley Pletcher all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
Kally Henson led things off on the rubber for Eastern. She surrendered only one run on four hits over seven innings, striking out three.
Hunter Brown was in the pitcher's circle for Carl Albert. She went seven innings, allowing four runs on 11 hits, striking out five and walking one.
The Lady Mountaineers racked up 11 hits. Pletcher and Hoover both managed multiple hits for Eastern. Pletcher led Eastern with three hits in four at-bats. The Lady Mountaineers did not commit a single error in the field. Summer Perkins had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
