4-Hit Day for Hendrick as Eastern Racks up 15 runs on NOC-Enid

Eastern Softball defeated Northern Oklahoma College-Enid 15-6 on Tuesday. Four hits from Cailee Hendrick helped pave the way to victory for the Lady Mountaineers. Hendrick singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the fifth and doubled in the sixth.

In the first inning, the Lady Mountaineers got their offense started on the right foot. Kirstie Blackwood hit a two-run home run on the first pitch of her at-bat.

Eastern notched five runs in the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Avery Roberts and Nene Meza and doubles by Hendrick and Summer Perkins.

Kally Henson toed the rubber for Eastern Oklahoma State College Mountaineers Softball. She surrendered six runs on 13 hits over six innings.

Eastern tallied 19 hits in the game. Hendrick, Ashley Pletcher, Roberts, Meza, Perkins and Blackwood each managed multiple hits for Eastern. Hendrick led the team with four hits in four at-bats.

NOC-Enid racked up 13 hits. Gilliam, Thomas, Lee, and Kelsey Gammage each had multiple hits for NOC-Enid. Gilliam went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Northern Oklahoma College-Enid in hits.
