Eastern ran off with the lead late in the game in a 12-8 victory over North Arkansas on Monday. The game was tied at eight with Eastern batting in the top of the fourth when Cassidy Floyd doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.
Eastern earned the victory despite allowing Northark to score eight runs in the first inning.
Kally Henson toed the rubber for Eastern. She lasted one-third of an inning, allowing two hits and four runs.
