Green's Dominant Outing in the Circle Leads Eastern to Victory

A walk-off single led Eastern past SAU-Tech 3-2 on Friday. The game was tied at two with Eastern batting in the bottom of the seventh when Nene Meza singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Sydney Green struck out 12, while SAU-Tech pitchers sat down six.

Green was on the rubber for Eastern. She went seven innings, allowing two runs on seven hits, striking out 12 and walking one.

Eastern tallied one home run on the day. Summer Perkins had a long ball in the sixth inning.

Eastern had nine hits in the game. Perkins and Taylor Blanscett each managed multiple hits for Eastern. Perkins led Eastern with three hits in three at-bats. Eastern didn't commit a single error in the field. Katelyn Hoover had the most chances in the field with 14.
