Two Mountaineers named to All-Cotton States Baseball League team

Two Eastern Oklahoma State College baseball players were recently named to the All-Cotton States Baseball League team.

Eastern sophomore Robby Broseus, a utility player from Berryville, AR, was named to the first team, while sophomore Eli Davis, a first baseman from Conway, AR, was named to the second team. Both Broseus and Davis played for the Golden Triangle Jets in the league.

Players for the All-CSBL teams were chosen by the opposing coaches for their attitudes, leadership and contributions on and off the field. Players from 24 different colleges and universities are represented on the list.

Founded in 2009, the Cotton States Baseball League is a pro-style, collegiate wooden bat league for players with college eligibility. The six-team league is located in New Albany, MS and players travel from across the nation to participate in about 22 games during June and July.
