Walk-Off Gives Eastern Victory Over Rose State College

A walk-off single propelled Eastern Oklahoma State College to a decisive, dramatic victory over Rose State College, 4-3. The game was tied at three with EOSC batting in the bottom of the ninth inning when Robby Broseus singled on a 0-1 count, scoring the winning run.

Rose State scored three runs in the third inning, but Eastern still managed to pull out the victory.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Eastern tied things up at three. Jarrett Gable singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Jon Ward earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for the Mountaineers. He allowed three hits and zero runs over 5 1-3 innings, striking out one and walking one.

Frank Souza took the loss for Rose State. He went one inning, allowing one run on two hits and walking one.

Jake Hamilton started the game for Rose State College. He allowed four hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out 17 and walking one. Jacob Womack started the game for Eastern. He lasted 3 2-3 innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out one and walking one.

Nick Butler went 2 for 4 at the plate to lead the Mountaineers in hits.
