David Sandlin earns NJCAA Region 2 Pitcher of the Week honors

Eastern Oklahoma State College freshman David Sandlin has earned his first Pitcher of the Week award for the season. He was named the NJCAA Region 2 Pitcher of the Week for Feb. 1-7, 2021. He is the first Eastern baseball player to earn the distinction so far this season.

Sandlin is a right-handed pitcher from Owasso, Okla. In two appearances, Sandlin has pitched 3 innings with 6 strikeouts and a 0.00 earned-run average. He has not allowed a hit or a run, while only giving up 2 walks so far this season.
