Hunter Ryan earns NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week honors

Eastern Oklahoma State College freshman Hunter Ryan has earned his first Player of the Week award for the season. He was named the NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week for Week 6. This is the second time an Eastern baseball player has earned the distinction so far this season.

Ryan is a freshman catcher from Minooka, Ill. So far this season, he has a .389 batting average with 5 home run, 31 RBIs, 11 stolen bases and 25 runs scored. In Week 6, Ryan hit for a .500 AVG with 3 HRs, 11 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
