Zyon Patterson Earns NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week Honors

Eastern Oklahoma State College sophomore guard Zyon Patterson has earned his first Player of the Week award for the season. He was named the NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week for Nov. 1-7, 2021. He is the first Eastern men's basketball player to earn the distinction so far this season.

Patterson is a sophomore guard from Crossett, Ark. He is currently averaging 14.3 points per game while shooting 67.6 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from beyond the arc. Patterson is also shooting 60 percent from the free-throw line so far this season.
