Jackson Greene Named to All-Region Team

Eastern men's basketball forward Jackson Greene was named to the 2023-2024 NJCAA Region 2 All-Region Team.

Greene, a sophomore from Atlanta, Ga., played in 30 games this season and averaged 19.5 points, 2.2 assists and 9.3 rebounds per game during the regular season. He also shot 38 percent from beyond the arc and 70 percent from the free-throw line.

The Mountaineers are the No. 5 seed in the Region 2 Tournament Championship and will look to make a deep run beginning on March 14. Eastern will play Western Oklahoma State College at 1 p.m. at the Rougher Village Arena in Muskogee, Okla.
