Shanequa Henry Earns Fourth NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week Honors

Eastern Oklahoma State College sophomore guard Shanequa Henry has earned her fourth Player of the Week award for the season. She was named the NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week for Jan. 3-9. She also earned the award for the weeks of  Nov. 1-7, Nov. 8-14 and Nov. 21-28. She is the first Eastern women's basketball player to earn the distinction so far this season. This marks the fourth such award for the Lady Mountaineers, as well.

Henry is a sophomore guard from Texarkana, Texas. She is currently averaging 18.9 points per game while shooting 51 percent from the field and 33.8 percent from beyond the arc. Henry is also shooting 80.9 percent from the free-throw line so far this season.
