Shanequa Henry Earns Fifth NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week Honors

Eastern Oklahoma State College sophomore guard Shanequa Henry has earned her fifth Player of the Week award for the season. She was named the NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week for Feb. 6-13. She also earned the award for the weeks of  Nov. 1-7, Nov. 8-14, Nov. 21-28 and Jan. 3-9. This marks the sixth such award for the Lady Mountaineers this season.

Henry is a sophomore guard from Texarkana, Texas. She is currently averaging 18.8 points per game while shooting 50.1 percent from the field and 38.1 percent from beyond the arc. Henry is also shooting 76.1 percent from the free-throw line so far this season.
