Two Women's Basketball Players Earn Region 2 Awards

Two Eastern women's basketball players earned 2022-2023 NJCAA Region 2 Division I Awards. Crystal Ortiz, a third-year sophomore forward from Sallisaw, Okla., earned First Team All-Region honors. Brooklyn Fisher, a freshman guard from Oklahoma City, earned Second Team All-Region honors.

Eastern Oklahoma State College sophomore forward Crystal Ortiz has earned her first Player of the Week award for the season. She was named the NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week for Nov. 7-13. She is the first Eastern women's basketball player to earn the distinction so far this season.
